Judy & Tony's tree in GA
Even though it was 77 degrees in GA, we managed to get the tree decorated to get into the spirit of the holidays.
Tango dancers-Buenos Aires
1. Singing "Don't Cry for me Argentina", and the rest are from one of the Tango dancing shows-amazing how they can move their bodies!
Argentina
First a side trip across the river to Uruguay, then La Boca in Buenos Aires-originally an Italian part of the city, the group is with Pam (left) and some of the other guests on the trip, and last is me with one of the male models-almost a stowaway......
Paciano Quiz Show
Paciano has an annual competition and 5 groups of 'adults and families' dress up with a theme and compete not only for best costumes but also various challenges both physical and mental. The Flintstones and Alice and Wonderland were the best. I was one of the judges and accepted many bribes............
Sept/Oct events
Elisabetta and I going to a 70's birthday party/ Elisabetta's birthday dinner. Halloween in Paciano, and another of Denise and her family/friends in front of my door.
September Events
The first is my show in Cortona-this is the gallery I use each year. Two are of Denise's visit with family and friends, and last is Lisa being held tightly by Mario-our grape picking expert. I was along for the ride! Not bad for an 86 year old farmer!
Massa Marittima
This is where I took the Italian, Opera and Wine course. The first is the lovely piazza, the next is all the students at a local winery. The band performed on the night of the Wine Festival, and the last is a Hermitage we visited on one of our free afternoons. It is a lovely village and worth returning to.
Infiorata, Liguria, Italy /June
Forgot to add this in-went to Liguria in May/June for a weekend with a group of Pacianese to create a scene on the streets, in a competition. We went by bus and I was the 'resident photographer'.
Over The Wall Camp
Here are various pics from my week at camp. The first is some of the counselors on our Rave review night. I tried kayaking, only to be caught in the current going in circles. The solo child is one of our kids ready to let go of her balloon with a wish attached. And last, is the morning we all had to go to breakfast dressed as animals.........
My Best Friend
Maryalice makes at least a once a year visit to Italy to see me. She also came to Boston to visit, from DC. What a great friend!!!
Cooking Class in Florence
This is from the cooking class that Jacquita (right of me) and I took in Florence. Henry Winkler's wife is to my left. We had such a great lesson cooking artichokes in many ways.
